Date and Location

The 2010 Summer Meeting of the NCUTCD will be held June 30 – July 2, 2010, at the Embassy Suites Downtown Hotel Chicago, Illinois. More information on the hotel can be seen on their website: Embassy Suites Chicago - Downtown/Lakefront.

Click here for a preliminary agenda. A final agenda for the meeting will be posted on the NCUTCD website later. As usual, the Technical Committees will be meeting during the afternoon and evenings of Wednesday and Thursday and the NCUTCD Council will meet Thursday and Friday mornings.

before May 31, 2010 for the early registration rate. After that, or registering at the door, the fee is higher. If you are not able to send the registration form with a check by May 29, please plan to register at the door. The registration fee covers morning and afternoon breaks. The hotel provides free full breakfast and afternoon reception for all registered guests. There will be no planned luncheons.

Note: Registrations received after May 31 or received without a check will be required to pay the late registration fee.

Sorry, we cannot accommodate credit cards, so please include a check with your registration form. The NCUTCD federal tax ID number is on the top of the registration form.

Hotel Information

Room rates at Embassy Suites Hotel will be $199.00 single or double. This is a significant discount from their usual summer rate of $249.00. At the Embassy Suites a full breakfast is included as well as an afternoon Managers Reception with free cocktails, snacks and beverages. Each one-bedroom suite features a separate living room with a sofa bed and dining/work table, remote-control console television, and two phones with high-speed Internet access which will cost $7.47 per day (a 50% discount off the regular rate of $14.95).

The Embassy Suites Hotel is located in downtown Chicago and is 11 miles from Midway airport and 14 miles from O’Hare International airport. There is taxi, limo and rail transportation available from both airports. We have made arrangements for a special 10% discount on limo service from both airports with GO Airport Express.
