Date and Location

The Midyear Meeting of the NCUTCD will be held June 20-22, 2007 at the Harvey’s Hotel in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. The hotel’s address is 18 Hwy 50 at Stateline, Stateline, NV 89449. The website for the hotel is: http://www.harrahs.com/casinos/harveys-lake-tahoe/hotel-casino/

Click here for a preliminary agenda. Technical committee meetings, as indicated, are scheduled for all afternoon and evening Wednesday and Thursday and Council general sessions will be held Thursday and Friday mornings.

by May 25, 2006 for the early registration rate. After that, or registering at the door, the fee is higher. If you are not able to send the registration form by May 31, please plan to register at the door. The registration fee covers continental breakfasts and breaks. Fees for luncheons are separate.

Sorry, we cannot accommodate credit cards, so please include a check with your registration form. The federal tax ID number is on the top of the registration form.

Hotel (Important Information)

Hotel reservations may be made by calling Harvey’s at 1-800-455-4770. When you call, please state that you are attending the National Committee meeting and give the Group Code: S06AASH to get the special rate of $109.00 single or double. This rate is for two people in the same room. Additional persons (children) are $20 each for any age. The $109 rate is for Sunday through Thursday. The rate for Friday and Saturday is $189 and that rate is based on availability at time of booking. The cut-off date for reservations is May 16, 2007. After that, reservations are accepted on an availability basis at a higher rate. Reservations made with a credit card will be charged the first night at the time the reservation is made. Cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival will be charged for the entire stay. Cancellations made before 72 hours in advance will be refunded the deposit.

Transportation

A shuttle service is available from the Reno airport. It is South Tahoe Express with 11 daily departures to Lake Tahoe. Current cost per person is $24 one-way and $43 round-trip. Tickets should be purchased the day you need to be shuttled. Arrangements on the internet can not be refunded. Shuttle service is located in baggage claim 5. Rental cars are available at the airport.

ARTBA Dinner

The American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) (http://www.artba.org/) will hold their traditional dinner on Tuesday night at the Edgewood Tahoe Country Club. More information later
